Caron Butler expected to start against the Knicks
After hurting his left elbow last week, ESPN is reporting that Caron Butler is expected to start against the Knicks in their Sunday ABC Showdown. Butler is having a down season averaging 10 points and shooting 42% from the field, however he is coming off a strong performance against the Nuggets where he has 15 points and 5 rebounds before straining his left elbow. The Knicks will be without Amare Stoudemire who will miss the remainder of the regular season. There is also concern for the Knicks on Carmelo Anthony who missed the Friday night matchup against the Portland Trailblazers. He stayed in New York to get his knee drained. Despite getting the back of his knee drained, there was no structural damage in his knee.
